Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery: Greentec Auto Canada
1. Shipping and Delivery Fees Greentec Auto Canada provides shipping services for battery units to the customer’s specified location. While business deliveries are standard, residential deliveries or those requiring specialized equipment (e.g., lift-gates) may incur additional charges.
- Variable Pricing: An additional delivery fee may be applied based on the specific delivery location and logistical requirements.
- Communication: Final shipping costs will be calculated and communicated to the customer by a Greentec battery specialist during the order confirmation call.
2. Core Deposit and Exchange Policy A core deposit is required for all battery units shipped directly to customers or third-party repair facilities.
- Deposit Value:Â The specific deposit required for an order will be discussed and finalized during the order confirmation call.
- Return Timeline: To remain eligible for a core deposit refund, the old battery (core) must be received at a Greentec Auto location within 45 days of the new unit’s delivery.
- Warranty Requirement: Cores must be returned within a maximum of 90 days; failure to meet this window will result in the permanent voiding of the warranty on the new battery.
3. Core Return Logistics Customers may utilize Greentec Auto’s preferred carrier accounts for return shipments.
- Deductions: Return freight costs will be deducted from the core deposit balance.
- Self-Arranged Shipping: If a customer elects to use an independent carrier, they must provide a copy of the shipping receipt to sales@greentecauto.ca.
- Packaging: All cores must be shipped on a pallet to prevent transit damage. Any damage resulting from improper packaging or missing components (such as the ECU or vital internal hardware) will result in a deduction from the core refund.
4. Refund and Return Policy
- Unshipped Orders: Orders eligible for a full refund if the product fails to ship within 30 calendar days, excluding delays caused by customer scheduling or events beyond Greentec Auto’s reasonable control.
- Shipped Orders: Returns requested after shipment are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus all applicable shipping charges incurred by Greentec Auto.
- Installed Units: If Greentec Auto performed the installation, the customer is responsible for the 20% restocking fee, the standard mobile service fee for removal, and all original installation fees.
- Method of Refund: Greentec Auto does not offer cash refunds. Remaining balances will be credited back to the original form of payment.
